VERY cool artistas (and just artworks that i really like)

these guys make hella cool art & stuff & you should check them out!!! also i've only included artists & art most people probably dont already know about

• bentl one of my fav artists at the moment!!! xe made a film called "lesbian dogwood" and i'm kinda jealous cause that's exactly the kind of style i go for with some of my art
• i saw the tv glow very very beautiful movie about aspects of transness people rarely talk about. also the soundtrack was amazing and included a song by sloppy jane & phoebe bridgers, who've made some of my favorite music
• david leo made some super cool short films (and has a fucking bangin domain name)
• kitty horroshow cool small horror & horror-adjacent games!!! frick yes!!
• samorost by amanita design hell yeah babeyyy!!! i played this a few times as a flash game way back before the web became scary and bad, and the style really made an impression on me. there's also a second and third game which look just as rad but i dont think ive played those yet
• olof grind photographer who takes super dreamy & pretty pictures of people. also he made the album cover of phoebe bridgers punisher album, which is my favorite album in the whole wide world!!!!
• carter amelia davis weird vidoe lady. very cool
• mallbat 3d animator who has really nice & snappy character animations and models. + her how to give yourself a name video was really really beautiful
• mike klubnika makes ps2-style horror games. im a huge fan of the visual style, and i really wanna learn to do that kinda 3d modeling
• aude nasr i really like her photography work. big fan of the color contrast and the overlaying photos on top of each other. (her queering the map illustrations are also pretty nice:) )
• ballgard probably my favorite iranian band!! i dont speak farsi well enough to understand their music yet but they have immaculate vibes regardless
• jump to the moon really fun band with amazing summer vibes!! i wish they still made music
• el que quiera entender que entienda by mago de oz ok so as a kid i was REALLY self conscious about music with lyrics for some reason?? so for a long long long time I only listened to instrumental music (or music in a language i didnt understand) and this was the first song that started to crack that shell. i actually found it through an amv and i liked the song so much that i searched it out. its still one of my fav songs!!!!
• littlebigplanet 2 YESSSS!!!i grew up on this game and its creative style is unmatched! this is probably the reason i ended up doing game dev
